Purpose
As stated in our by-laws, the
purpose of Chicagoland Personal
Chefs, Inc. (CPC) is to provide a
forum for independent professional
personal chefs to gather for
networking, information exchange,
charity work, and promotion of the
personal chef industry in the
Chicagoland area
Benefits
Meetings offer a place to learn
and share an enormous amount of
information and experience. Everyone
is invited to ask questions and
learn from each other. CPC funds are
available to support
charity/publicity and CPC events.
APCA National provides our members
with a special web listing for our
members.
Meetings
Chicagoland Personal Chefs meet
every other month, usually on the
first Tuesday or Wednesday of the
month. Meeting locations vary. The
minutes from the last chapter are
read, old business and new business
is discussed. We have cooking demos,
vendor presentations, and
discussions on many topics, such as
marketing your business, events at
APCA National and resource tips for
buying equipment and supplies. Light
refreshments are served.
Eligibility
You must be an active (paid)
member of the APCA to apply for Full
membership. Affiliate members are
welcome to apply, provided their
business is related to the food
industry. All membership
applications are subject to approval
by CPC membership. Non-members are
invited to attend one regular
meeting before applying for

Dues
Local chapter dues are $60 per year
for Full Members and $30 per year
for Affiliate Members. These dues
are used to support the activities
of CPC. Dues, fees and purchases you
have paid to APCA National are
independent of us and have nothing
to do with the operation of CPC. For
